A little about our pollinators..
About:Kalpana Palaniappan, designer and natural dye facilitator
I'm Kalpana, I've always been inclined towards all things art and design. After working as a freelance designer for several years, I started my own label, Gaia.
It had been my dream for many years to work on a label which is unique and innovative. In a world where we have been inadvertently leaning towards fast fashion, I wanted to create a label that makes a small but conscious effort in promoting sustainable clothing. The spirit of Gaia, is a way of thinking that will best serve both humans and the planet.
Before starting the brand, I spent some time studying about the ways to make it sustainable not just on paper but in practice. That is when I stumbled on organic textiles and natural dyes, and understood its immense benefits. I decided to take the plunge and started to work with them by making sure that it is both artistic and fashionable.

Moitri, traveler, sustainable enthusiast, artist and part-time facilitator
A human being is seen & described by another being as per their various perceptions and capabilities. Some call me traveling volunteer, some say I am a traveling artist, some call me a rookie farmer, some see me as a newage education enthusiast. Every individual who has met me at a particular juncture of my passing life has given a name, title & job description to me. But every time i carry a label, it has put immense weight on me. So i choose to leave it after certain point in time & just be nothing. So, I'm nothing, or may be i am someone who wants
to be and learn everything possible and impossible by a human being. I am someone who is constantly shedding their many beliefs & exploring a new layer , to again shed. I have all the time & opportunity in the world because we live in abundance always, just got to allow our senses to feel it.
I'm currently practicing the basics of a yogi and maintaining the equilibrium of life, moving from one place to another learning life skills from life & fellow souls..
