Beginner Level- This can be done by a DIY kit with reading material, a video tutorial, and a hands-on exercise to understand the introductory chemistry and fundamentals of natural dyeing.
Intermediate Level-This is more detailed than the beginner level and is online workshop (2 sessions:40 minutes each) that once purchased, can be scheduled according to your time and mutual convenience. It covers the history of natural dyeing, sources, foraging, testing what is a stain or dye, understanding of the role of fabric types, and some reading materials. Hands on activity: Color bar experiment on swatches that are sent as a kit.
Advanced Level-This is for students, homeschoolers and enthusiasts conducted at our centre in ColorAshram as a 3 days offline workshop.It is good for people who want to learn details about the theory, history, chemistry of natural dyes as a subject. We also explore pollution problems due to synthetic toxic dyes, feasibility analysis, application possibilities, consumer education, and market growth in this field
Training Level: 5 days.This level is for professionals who want to teach natural dyeing as a subject or do a thesis or research in this field. We include all of the above three levels and also show a whole array of research and a library of books that delve deeper in the subject. It is still at theory level and for practical applications, there are other workshops on this page.
