Mordant- Iron Salt

Iron salt, ferrous sulfate, is used on mordant and change shades of fabrics before or after using natural dye.

It is a mineral fixer and shade shifter for natural colors and is safe at about 2-4% to the weight of fabric. Do not use more than that or the fabric may get spoilt and also it can make water hard.
